CANADIAN TREE FUND GRANT OPPORTUNITIES

The Canadian Tree Fund offers grants for Canadian programs, communities and bursaries for students interested in Arboriculture as a career.

RESEARCH, EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY PROGRAM GRANTS

Jack Kimmel Grant:

  • This grant is available for Canadian applicants.
  • Applications due on December 1
  • Grants have been awarded nationwide for projects promoting arboriculture research and education in Canada.
  • Projects have covered a wide range of topics including: urban forest management, plant health care, tree planting and establishment, root and soil management, tree risk assessment and worker safety, education and outreach.
  • Individuals and/or agencies are invited to submit proposals for consideration.
  • The scope of your proposal can vary in size with this grant being the sole source of funding or one of a variety of sources.
  • The project will be evaluated with regard for the goals of the TREE Fund as a whole and the impact that can be made with each grant.
  • In your application you will be asked to provide project goals, significance to the arboriculture industry, the work plan, budget outline and expertise of applicant.
  • Our funding limit is flexible- past projects range from $500.-$15,000., including full or partial funding and no overhead expenses.
