Are you interested in understanding how to implement and perform the techniques of modern tree climbing?
This NEW course will provide you with training in the use of specialized equipment and techniques employed in both Moving Rope Systems (MRS) and Stationary Rope Systems (SRS). Safe work procedures for popular technical work at height systems are demonstrated and practiced. Fall protection and work positioning while working the tree will be taught. You will gain an understanding of the advantages and limitations of MRS and SRS while maintaining and following safe work practices and legislation pertaining to fall protection. Forces on anchor points, re-directs and tie-off methods for tree climbing systems completes this informative course. This course meets the requirements of ANSI Z133, Z359, CSA Z259 and is in compliance with ANSI Z490 – Accepted Practices in Safety, Health and Environmental Training.
